About Me
My name is Gloria Cedillo and I grew up in  MI.  That
is where I still live today.  I started lampworking
approximately two years ago, after admiring the beads
for some time.  I am happily married with two beautiful
kids, to a wonderful husband.  He indulges me with the
time I need to make beads.  He pretty much runs the
house, so I can spend my spare time at the torch.

Lampwork beads are made by melting glass to a molten
state on a torch.  My torch is an oxygen propane mix.
The glass is then wound around a metal mandrel.  It is
kept in the flame while being shaped and decorated,
and finally placed in the kiln.

All of my beads are handmade in my home studio.
They are then properly annealed, cleaned and strung
before being sent out to their new owners.  My beads
are made from  Moretti, Vetrofond , Bullseye,  and/or
Lauscha glass.

You can find my beads here on my website, or at these
fine Bead stores:
